Microneedling Treatment
Collagen Induction Therapy
Service Description
Microneedling also known as "Collagen induction Therapy" is a minimally invasive procedure that creates microscopic punctures in the skin for rejuvenation. It repairs damaged skin due to trauma from acne scars, hyperpigmentation, photo damage (sun spots), improves texture, minimizes signs of aging such as wrinkles, fine lines, and enlarged pores. Clients with more severe acne scars may require multiple sessions. (*not suitable for inflamed acne, skin infections, poor wound healing, or those pregnant or breastfeeding) How does it work? This treatment stimulates collagen synthesis to stimulate your skin's response to produce new collagen elastin cells. This is a 15-20 minute procedure. A numbing solution is applied to ensure there's little to no pain and left on for 20 mins. Then a hydrating (EGF) epidermal growth factor topical serum is applied to maximize healing benefits. Can be done intermittently with other monthly facial treatments. Microneedling is generally performed every 6-8 weeks.
